Last updated: October 24, 2026. Al-Misbaah (we, us) is a nonprofit organization based at 10277 Iron Rock Way, Suite 120, Elk Grove, California 95624. These terms apply when you use our website, fill in one of our forms (for example to sign up for an event, volunteer, donate, book a meeting or ask for help), or receive our messages. By submitting a form on our website or app, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not submit the form. You can contact us instead at admin@al-misbaah.org.
1. Who can use our forms: You must be 18 or older, or have a parent or guardian submit for you. You agree that what you tell us is true and that you have the right to give us anyone else’s details you include (for example a family member or guest).
2. How we may contact you: When you submit a form you agree that we may contact you by email, and by phone or text where you gave your number and, for texts, agreed separately (see 3), about your request, registration, ticket, booking, donation or application, including confirmations, receipts, reminders and changes; the programs, events and services you signed up for; and updates about Al-Misbaah’s programs and giving opportunities. Every marketing or newsletter email carries an unsubscribe link, and we honor it promptly. Service messages about something you asked for, such as a receipt or a ticket, are not marketing and cannot be turned off for that request.
3. Text messages: We send text messages only if you tick the separate text consent box on a form. Consent to texts is not a condition of any donation, service or volunteer role. 4. Donations: Donations are voluntary and are made to Al-Misbaah. Card payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store your full card number. Recurring gifts continue until you cancel them. For help with a gift, a refund question or to cancel, email admin@al-misbaah.org.
5. Events, tickets, volunteering and programs: Attendance and participation are subject to the rules stated for each event or program and to capacity. Photography and filming may take place at events. We may cancel or change events and will tell you using the contact details you gave. Volunteers and vendors agree to follow the instructions of Al-Misbaah staff at the event.
6. Your information: How we collect, use and protect your information is described in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell your information, and we do not share mobile information or text opt-in data with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.
7. Acceptable use: Do not misuse our forms or systems, submit false or harmful content, or try to access information that is not yours.
8. Our responsibility: We work to keep our services available and accurate, but we provide them as is.
9. Changes: We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Using our forms after a change means you accept it.
